What to include
The property address and lot size, the water source — a private well changes the setbacks that apply — and what is happening now, whether that is a new build, a field that has stopped draining, an inspection before a sale, or a tank overdue for servicing. Any existing paperwork helps: a filing, a Letter of Certification, or pump-out records.
What happens next
We assess what the property is likely to need, and arrange a site visit. Where records exist, we request them from Island Health first. A records request costs $50 per property.
